While Weld County has wealth and opportunity for many, some of our neighbors face difficult circumstances.

  • 60% of children aren’t reading adequately by the age of 8
  • Over 1 in 4 Weld County youth do not have a connection to a caring adult
  • Over 1/2 of renter households pay more than 30% of their earnings on housing
  • A fast growing segment of the homeless population is adults aged 50+
