Meet Margaret

Margaret’s home had several areas of concern including a leaky roof, a sagging floor and an inability to heat the home properly. Habitat for Humanity offers critical home repairs to people like Margaret. Volunteers, her family and Habitat staff worked tirelessly to ensure that all of the home’s problems were fixed before the winter set in. Whenever volunteers showed up, Margaret met them with homemade tamales and burritos.
