Almost 250 children across Weld County are having a really nice holiday, and lots of parents are breathing a sigh of relief. United Way of Weld County wants to thank all Santa donors for making this Christmas a bright one for their neighbors throughout Weld County.
Thank you especially to anyone who donated toys and other much-needed items like diapers, blankets, coats, hats, mittens and warm pajama’s. While it’s been a really challenging year, we at UWWC hope a lot of children and their families can remember 2020 ending with a smile!
A stand out in this effort was the Shoop Family Foundation, which helped 105 children.
“This year has been especially difficult for a lot of people. We are pleased that through the Shoop Family Foundation we were able to make the holidays a little brighter for children and families in our community. Many thanks to all the United Way elves for helping make this happen.” – Mike and Lori Shoop
