United Way of Weld County is currently seeking an experienced “full-charge” Accountant to join our Finance Team. This position will be the lead individual for campaign processing, perform general ledger maintenance and analysis, and will assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Coordinated Entry Community Specialist
The Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement System (CAHPS) Community Coordinator, in partnership, implements and facilitates the coordinated entry process in Weld and Larimer counties. This process supports a network of community partners who work with people experiencing homelessness in their efforts to become stably housed as quickly as possible. In partnership with the CAHPS Project Coordinator and others, the CAHPS Community Coordinator is responsible for facilitating collaborative community participation in the system, implementing system improvements to better ensure equitable access for the most vulnerable or marginalized households, support trauma-informed and housing first practices within the system, and communicate the CAHPS process to the community and persons experiencing homelessness.
Vice President of Philanthropy
This executive position, reporting to the President & CEO, is responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision for all aspects of fundraising, donor engagement, business development and volunteerism for United Way of Weld County. The Vice President of Philanthropy successfully establishes, deepens and grows major individual, business, and corporate relationships. They employ new and innovative engagement approaches, including corporate social responsibility and leadership giving strategies to reach new markets and donors. They are responsible for leading donor relations and volunteers in implementing annual plans and making course corrections when required to meet goals.
Vice President of Community Impact
This executive position, reporting to the President & CEO, provides planning, direction, and oversight of community impact efforts at United Way of Weld County, including overseeing internally and externally offered programming in four collective impact initiatives areas: Reading Great by 8 (early childhood), Thrive by 25 (youth success), Weld’s Way Home (ending and preventing homelessness), and Aging Well (older adults). Additionally the Vice President of Community Impact offers assistance in the Connecting Weld (access to services) initiative area, in support of the Vice President of Community Development.
Shelter Associate, Housing Navigation Center
The person in this role will use a Housing First focus to assist in overnight cold weather shelter operations and tasks between November and April. They will work directly with people experiencing homelessness to provide a safe, effective, and welcoming emergency shelter.
United Way – Early Care & Education Administrative Assistant
Early Care and Education Administrative Assistant supports the Assistant Director of Early Childhood Initiatives and the other members of the Early Care and Education Team. The administrator supports the work of the team by taking on other administrative roles related to: meetings, communication, compiling data, assisting with reports and other general administrative duties. The administrator serves to make purchases in accordance with agency protocol to meet the needs of the team as well as more extensive purchases related to grant funding offered to licensed child care programs and tied to the state designated database to track these purchases.
United Way – Reading Great by 8 Administrator
Reading Great by 8 Administrator supports the RGby8 team and the Early Childhood Initiatives Director. The administrator leads the Roadmap4Kids website, school readiness calendar and RGby8 social media platform. Provides direct support to the Director and the council meetings/outreach. The administrator supports the work of the children’s team: meetings, procurement, and general administrative duties.
