United Way of Weld County believes that a community and a country can only succeed when we are united, and that every individual must receive equal opportunity to pursue their dreams and maintain their livelihood.
United Way of Weld County is committed to a set of values that includes the belief that every person is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. We believe in our country’s pledge for equal justice for all.
The death of George Floyd and others in black communities received response and universal condemnation. It has resulted in peaceful protest and outburst of rage. United Way of Weld County supports the constitutional right for lawful protest and understands the anger that systematic racism can enflame.
We must all do our part, working United, to make our communities the place that we need them to be – equitable, respectful and opportunity filled. We, as a society, can and must do better.
United Way of Weld County continues to work diligently to bring our community together to improve the lives of all.
