New board members announced by United Way of Weld County for 2021-22

July 30, 2021 by United Way of Weld County

Four new board members were recently elected to serve on the United Way of Weld County board of directors. Newly added to the board to serve three-year terms were Clint Dudley (director of Thompson Rivers Parks and Recreation District), John Haefeli (community volunteer), Christine Richardson (community volunteer), and Paul Row (land manager at PDC Energy).
“The additions of Clint, John, Christine and Paul to our board of directors is really exciting,” United Way President and CEO Jeannine Truswell said. “They will add a tremendous amount of leadership, commitment and expertise to United Way, and join a remarkable group of volunteers on the board.”

The slate of 2021-22 board of director officers are: Sara Seely (Chair), Angel Flores (Chair Elect), Mike Bond (Treasurer), Tim Brynteson (Vice Chair), Deirdre Pilch (Vice Chair), Nina Duran-Gutierrez (Vice Chair) and Randy Watkins (Past Chair).

In addition to Dudley, Haefeli, Richardson and Row, other board of director members at United Way for 2021-22 include: Matt Anderson, Jim Becklenberg, Leah Bornstein, Julie Cozad, Lori Gama, Dylan Hockett, Evan Hyatt, Justin Martinez, Steve Moreno, Tom Norton, Brian Schiller and Jennifer Scholz.

Truswell said that a nonprofit organization’s strength depends on the leadership, wisdom, skills and commitment of its board of directors. “United Way will not exist without the contributions of donors and volunteers,” Truswell said. “Thanks to our board of directors and staff, our donors can be assured that their investments are spent wisely as we work toward building a better Weld County where children are reading to learn by the start of fourth grade, youth are working at good jobs by age 25, families have stable housing, older adults are aging well and people are connecting to the help they need.”
