“Farmers Bank supports United Way of Weld County because they also support the local area needs of the community. This has been very important over the last 20 years with the great financial crisis and now the COVID-19 impact that we are facing in the community,” says Eric L. Hoffner, Farmers Bank president. “One main reason Farmers Bank partners with United Way is although they reach out over the entire nation, they have local support for the communities we work and live in.”
Hoffner adds: “We have heard of the help they have made to people in the community and how those people have benefited from the support they have received from United Way. The many programs they have support so many different needs of the community.”
Hoffner says that United Way are the problem-solvers, the hand-raisers, the game-changers. “They fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. Without this help, there would be a large gap of support in the community that would be hard to fill,” Hoffner says. “United Way would have trouble doing this alone without partnerships and that is why Farmers Bank supports United Way of Weld County and all their efforts. We have supported United Way the last 20 years and look forward to another 20 years in the future.”
