Get ready for a day where curiosity takes flight.
The Northern Colorado Children’s Festival returns on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley (501 N 14th Ave.), inviting families across Weld County to “Blast Off to Learn” through hands-on exploration, creativity, and play.
This free, family-friendly event is designed to spark a lifelong love of learning while connecting parents and caregivers with the tools and resources they need to support their children’s development. From interactive arts and crafts to live entertainment, free books, and community resource booths, every activity is built to make early learning fun, accessible, and engaging for all families.
New this year, a sensory-friendly zone ensures that children of all abilities can participate comfortably, reflecting United Way of Weld County’s commitment to inclusive, equitable learning opportunities.
For more than a decade, the Children’s Festival has helped families discover local early childhood programs, health resources, and educational supports — all in one place. By bringing together community partners, educators, and service providers, the festival strengthens the network of support that helps young children enter school ready to succeed.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of ALLO Fiber and the collaboration of community partners and vendors, this year’s festival promises to be the biggest launch yet.
Join us as we celebrate learning, imagination, and the power of community — because when families have access to resources and opportunities early, children are set on a trajectory for success.
Mark your calendar and prepare for blastoff!
