One Day Events
Weld Project Connect (October)
One day, one location, multiple services on-site for our more vulnerable neighbors. 60+ service vendors, 300+ volunteers help attendees navigate the service opportunities. 1,000 guests and over 300 volunteers attend every year.
Northern Colorado Children’s Festival (Early April)
This is an event to celebrate children and connect families to information, opportunities, and services that contribute to children’s health and well-being. 4,000+ children, parents, and caregivers attend the NoCO Children’s Festival each year.
HNC Good Neighbor Clean-Up (Monthly)
Held monthly, volunteers work with Housing Navigation Center staff and guests to tidy up the outside of the facility and the immediate neighborhood, which encourages good relationship with our business and residential neighbors. These are held the first Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Housing Navigation Center.
Collection Drives
At any time of year, your business can hold a supply drive to help support multiple United Way programs. Types of collection drives: diapers, socks/undergarments, children’s books, tools, hygiene items, etc. These items are distributed to Weld County individuals and families.
Service-to-go projects
These are DIY projects that can be done anywhere, anytime. They can be completed at your business or an off-site location, providing meaningful resources to vulnerable individuals, families, and children. Potential projects include hygiene kits or non-perishable food packs for people experiencing homelessness, bookmarks or activity kits for children learning to read, “thinking of you” cards for older adults, and more. United Way staff will provide project instructions. Find the right project for your company.
