Good Neighbor Clean-Up (Monthly)
Held monthly, volunteers work with Housing Navigation Center staff and guests to tidy up the outside of the facility and the immediate neighborhood, which encourages good relationship with our business and residential neighbors. These are held the first Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Housing Navigation Center.
At any time of year, your business can hold a supply drive to help support multiple United Way programs. Types of collection drives: diapers, socks/undergarments, children’s books, tools, hygiene items, etc. These items are distributed to Weld County individuals and families.
These are DIY projects that can be done anywhere, anytime. They can be completed at your business or an off-site location, providing meaningful resources to vulnerable individuals, families, and children. Potential projects include hygiene kits or non-perishable food packs for people experiencing homelessness, bookmarks or activity kits for children learning to read, “thinking of you” cards for older adults, and more. United Way staff will provide project instructions. Find the right project for your company.
