2-1-1 is the nationwide information line and data base connection to health and human services. In Colorado nearly 100% of the state is covered by six regions providing the 2-1-1 service. Region 1 is managed by United Way of Weld County and includes Weld, Morgan, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips, Kit Carson, Washington, and Yuma counties.
The goal of the program is to maintain and develop the most comprehensive database of health and human services in Colorado to connect people in need with the community health and human care
Joe Soto, 2-1-1 Coordinator, meets regularly with nonprofits providing services in northeast Colorado to ensure we have the most up to date information available for our community.
Last year, the program received 14,351 calls and had an estimated 2,600 inquiries online. The number of online inquiries continue to grow every year as the database becomes more populated and internet access is more available. Locations such as libraries and the Catholic Charities Guadalupe Shelter have workstations for job searches and human service needs.
If you are a Health or Human service provider and you would like to list your Agency in the 2-1-1 information and referral database; please contact us by dialing 2-1-1, 970-353-4300 or e-mail our 2-1-1 Coordinator
