Help Create Affordable Housing in Northern Colorado
Are your congregation members and those you serve having a hard time finding housing they can afford? Do you want to do something about it? Does your congregation have land that it can use for an affordable housing development? Would you like to support such efforts for the good of our neighbors?
Numerous Colorado congregations are using their land in this way…
• Episcopalians in Denver now have 50 units for people formerly experiencing homelessness.
• People of faith in Weld County are planning for 50 units of affordable housing for seniors.
• A Methodist church in Boulder is providing its property for formerly homeless youth housing.
• A congregation in Adams County is dreaming about uses for its 70 acres.
Congregations offer up the land; expert nonprofit agencies and building developers do the rest.
Join us in either Fort Collins or Greeley on Wednesday, Feb. 20, to find out how your congregation can help address the lack of affordable housing in northern Colorado. At the meetings, we will hear from representatives of the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado and Radian Inc. about their Congregation Land Campaign, interact with some stories of success and find out ways we can be involved. Your congregation can contribute to this effort whether or not you have land to use. We hope you can join us!
