EQIT Spring 2019 Application

CERTIFICATE participants must complete/submit this application in full by 5:00 p.m. December 19, 2018 to be considered for the limited certificate spots. Acceptance into the training will be based upon individual qualifications. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Submitting an application does not constitute acceptance into the training. Applicants will be e-mailed notification of their acceptance into the training on or before, December 21, 2018. The email will contain a link for online credit card payments or other payment methods to United Way of Weld County. $30 will be due 1 week prior to the start of class to maintain your spot. 

It will be the student’s responsibility to complete Aims registration process for credit (tuition fees vary). See side 2 for ECE111 information. Aims/United Way Scholarships may be available for qualified individuals.

If yes, Aims Community College credits will require written assignments demonstrating your understanding of ECE111 competencies and the training content, in addition to attending all training sessions. Training Expectations

  1. Attend the orientation on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  2. Attend and participate in all 48 hours of the expanding Quality in Infant/Toddler Care training. Tuesdays Jan 15th-Apr30, 2019 and Thurs classes Feb. 21 and Mar. 28, 2019. NO CLASSES Feb 12th and Mar 12th. (Aims Closed for Conversation day and Spring break)
  3. Meet with an assigned Expanding Quality Infant Toddler Care Coach to determine a coaching plan.
  4. I will arrive in a timely manner, be ready to start class at 6:00 PM and participate fully to the end of class. (If class is canceled due to weather, a make-up session will be arranged)
  5. If I miss any modules I will complete all make-up work as assigned. (Certificates for individual sessions will not be given. If I decide to drop out of the training once it has started, I will not receive a refund from United Way of Weld County Promises for Children and will be responsible for dropping the class with Aims Community College if I am enrolled in the online ECE111 class).
