United Way of Weld County has set up a GoFundMe page to help keep the Housing Navigation Center cold weather shelter in Evans open until April 15,

The shelter was at capacity (80 people) for 14 nights in February and had come close to hitting capacity during the other nights. A total of $75,000 needs to be raised to keep the shelter operating, and donations are being sought from the community at United Way of Weld County as well as the GoFundMe page, which is set up to raise $15,000.

It costs approximately $15 a night to provide shelter for one person. To donate to the GoFundMe page, visit www.gofundme.com/homeless-cold-weather-shelter.
