City Bus Token Program

City Bus Token Program

The City of Greeley Transit Services Manager requested that United Way of Weld County continue to administer the Free Bus Token program.  The Greeley City Council recognizes that United Way of Weld County knows the needs of our citizens and non-profits and therefore they will continue to appropriately administer the Free Bus Token program.  For the 2008 fiscal year, the City of Greeley Transit Services has capped the number of available bus tokens at 14,000 and 400 paratransit, with an emphasis on utilizing them to improve self-sufficiency and access to community services for indigent persons in the Greeley-Evans community.  The City of Greeley Transit Services Manager will award the United Way of Weld County an additional 12,000 free bus ride tokens to be distributed to local non-profit agencies and organizations, for use by the public.
