Housing And Emergency Services Network (HESN)
United Way of Weld County facilitates meetings of the Housing and Emergency Services Network, a group of concerned citizens and agency representatives who work in emergency services and housing services. The meetings provide an opportunity to share information, identify common issues, and develop collaborative efforts that help people in crisis and encourage self-sufficiency. The ability to pay for housing continues to be an issue for Weld County residents along with the availability of funds for emergency services such as rent, food and utilities. Currently the group is focusing on training opportunities that will help build capacity and support staff. |
