UW Announces New Board Chair
United Way of Weld County recently elected new officers to the Board of Directors and three new Board members as well as confirmed continuing members and leadership assignments. 

Rick Jenkins, from Flood and Peterson Insurance, Inc., will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors; Jay Hinrichs, University of Northern Colorado Athletics, Chair Elect; Fred Bauer, Farmers Bank, Treasurer; Stow Witwer, Witwer Oldenburg Barry & Johnson LLP, Vice Chair; Shelley Costigan, Sears Real Estate, Vice Chair; Ted Warner, Connecting Point, Vice Chair.

Fred Otis, Otis, Coan & Peters, LLC, Virginia Rosales, Day Reporting Center and Ken Salazar, Payment Solutions are new Board members accepting three year terms.  Continuing members are:  Gary Boehler, Carestream Health, Inc.; Jim Brock, Rickards, Long & Rulon, LLP; Bruce Broderius, Greeley-Evans School District Board of Directors; Gary Burton, PBI Inc., Professional Background Investigations; Mike Geile, Aims Community College Board of Trustees; Randy Geist, JBS USA; Rebecca Koppes Conway, 19th Judicial District; Dave Long, Weld County Commissioner; Robert Lowenbach, JRL Consulting; Ken Ludwig, Aims Community College Student; Margie Martinez Perusek, Weld County Sheriff’s Office; Bill May, Rancher; Roy Otto, City of Greeley; Stephanie Rosenbaum, UNC Student; Doug Round, Retired Firefighter; Cathy Schulte, Upstate Economic Development Corporation; Manny Sisneros, Alamo Liquors; Sandy Tomasovich, State Farm Insurance Companies and Mike Trotter, Front Range Roofing.

Confirmed leadership positions to date include:  Campaign 2011-12 Annual Campaign Chairman, Gary Burton; Resource Investment Overall Chair, Margie Martinez Perusek; 2-1-1 Committee Chair, Mike Geile; Governance Chair, Manny Sisneros; Finance Committee Chair, Fred Bauer and Promises for Children Chair, Dave Long.
