Community oriented policing in programs such as Neighborhood Watch, Santa Cops, DARE/ GREAT/ Law Enforcement Torch Run, National Night Out, Elementary School Flag Football, Operation Child Safe. We provide a ten week citizens police academy in the spring. Topics range from domestic violence, traffic laws , investigations, narcotics, juvenile law, Very hands on. Opportunity to shoot a firearms, arrest control tactics, building searches and crime scenes.
