Program/Service Notes:
Employment Works delivers every career and employment service through a choice-driven approach identified by each customer. To carry out individual employment plans, staff provide pre-employment services, job readiness, assessments, job placement, employer support, post-employment services, and case management. Staff will also link individuals to resources including local workforce centers, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and other sources of funding for job training, assistive technology, transportation, and other services. CP of Colorado works with local Workforce Centers to access services such as job readiness, computer training, job databases, and other supports. The employment program has created relationships with several prominent employers such as Adam's Mark, Denver Public Library, Enterprise Rental Cars, Frontier Airlines, etc. The organization's Benefits Planning Assistance and Outreach initiative will continue to focus on helping people wit disabilities get and retain benefits(including health insurance) while also accessing employment and other resources. Without these services, a person with a disability who seeks employment could loose their publicly-funded health insurance.
