Creative Options provides early care, intervention, prevention and education to children, birth to five, and their families. Parents are empowered to use their skills to support their child's success and provide the best possible home environment. Family outreach staff and mental health staff engage families and support the mental and physical wellness of all children and their families. A Developmental Services team- comprised of special education staff/para-educators, and licensed occupational therapists, speech/language therapists and mental health specialists- helps children meet developmental goals. Health staff work closely with parents to assure that each child receives appropriate health/developmental screenings, immunizations, physical and dental care. One RN, two LPN's and an audiologist are on staff to serve both children/families and pregnant mothers in a pre-natal program. Mutually developed outcome oriented milestones are set in the areas of motor, language, social, cognitive, sensory, behavioral, perceptual and emotional development. Nationally recognized educational curricula are engaging and effective with the ultimate goal of entrance into public schools expecting to experience continued successes in mainstream classrooms.
