SHARE Inc. is a non profit safe hose facility and domestic violence outreach program for battered women and their children in Morgan County, Colorado. Developed and incorporated in 1981, SHARE has grown from a small crisis line network to its current shelter status. The shelter is a three bedroom structure with 12 beds, 2 cribs and 2 full bathrooms. The outreach office is located separately from the shelter site and houses our administrative offices. This program addresses the needs of victims of domestic violence in our community through: A. Emergency shelter and 24 hour crisis line response B. Individual advocacy and support groups in English and Spanish for battered women C. Facilitated children's and teen program for shelter and outreach children D. Full time court advocate for both English and Spanish speaking clients E. Annual volunteer training and quarterly volunteer meetings F. Assistance and referral to other resource agencies within the community G. Volunteer staff to assist with crisis line response and day care H. Transitional Housing program facilitated through the Colorado Coalition of the Homeless
