VISTA volunteers serve full time far a year and are compensated with a minimal living allowance and health insurance. We are looking for people to work with our Migrant Education and Homeless Education Programs in the areas of resource development, services to at-risk youth, and coordination with our area school districts. Volunteers must have a college degree or significant work experience. Preferred skills include youth development, an educational background, and previous volunteer experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. In addition to the living stipend, volunteers receive an education reward in the amount of $4,750 upon completing of their year of service as well as a loan deferment during their term of service.
