Program/Service Notes:
A service of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. Focuses on the oral health concerns a of special care patients, including people with genetic disorders or systemic diseases that compromise oral health, people whose medical treatment causes oral problems, and people with mental or physical disabilities that make good oral hygiene practices and Dental care difficult. Develops and distributes information and educational materials on special care topics, maintains a bibliographic database on oral health information and materials, and provides information services with trained staff to respond to specific interests and questions.
