A service of the U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA). Serves as a central source for a wide variety of program and policy-related materials, demographic and other statistical data on health, economic, and social status of older Americans. Responds to any public inquiry about Federal programs and policies for the elderly, especially those supported under the Older American Act. Maintains a 3,800 bibliographic database of research and demonstration reports and documents, develops and maintains a publications list for AoA and distributes fact sheets on aging topics for caregivers and older adults. develops topic-and issue-based Web link pages as a series called "Aging Internet Information Notes."
