East Memorial is a preschool throught 5th grade elementary school with an enrollment of 550 students. Some of the programs that are offered are ESL, gifted/talented education, special education, Title I Reading and higher order thinking skills. They also offer accelerated reading courses, headstart and technology clubs. They have dual language classes in preschool and kindergarten. They also have a graphic design club, after school fun club, choir, intramurals, basketball league and a school store. They offer foreign languages and the Reading Counts program.
