Since 1975 , The National Women's Health Network has testified for women's health issues before the United States Congress, The Food and Drug Administration, and The National Institutes of Health. Accepting no pharmaceutical industry funding, the NWHN often voices concerns overlooked by other organizations, the media, scientists and government agencies. NWHN's six areas of focus are: Breast Cancer, Menopause, Osteoporosis, and Hormone Replacement Therapy, Health Care and Welfare Reform, HIV/AIDS and Women, Safe Drugs and Devices and Reproductive Health.
