Lions Club helps purchase glasses for needy children. Also has eye bank at old Fitzsimmons Complex Hospital for Cornea Transplants. Protocol is referral from school nurse to parents, forwarded to Denny Graham to get approval. Notification is sent to health clerk to what Optometrist or Ophthalmologists the child needs to go to. Frames are free unless they want tri-focal or more expensive frames, no contacts are available. Proof of income is required. Must application done through Weld Schools Health Clerk/ DSS / and Sunrise Community Center
