The Greeley Police Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) Team is highly trained, dedicating 2880 man-hours for training. The unit conducts combined training sessions with the Ft. Collins S.W.A.T. and the Colorado Air National Guard. This specialized unit is available for deployment during emergencies. The unit provides service, when requested, for Weld County and is an added margin of safety for officers and the public. The unit continues to be highly dedicated to providing the highest quality service to the citizens of Greeley.
