Units within the Patrol Division include: the Operations Commanders Office, three patrol Watches, Community Outreach Program, Traffic Enforcement, Special Weapons, and Tactics Unit, Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit, Parking Enforcement, Animal Control, Community Service Officers, and Crime Analysis. The Operations Commander oversees the Patrol Division. Through his staff, he ensures that each of the units under his command are properly staffed, equipped and perform to the expectations of the community. An Administrative Specialist assigned to Operations maintains court subpoenas for officers and applications for sound/ parade permits, provides clerical assistance to watch commanders and supervisors, as well as handling a variety of other tasks.
