The Greeley Police Department offers a 10 week Citizen's Policy Academy to the citizens of Greeley and members of local civic, service, or governmental organizations. The Citizen's Academy is designed to foster the Greeley Police Department's active partnership with the community. Critical to the success of the is partnership are well-informed citizens who have an awareness mission, resources, practices, and services of their police department. Topics addressed in academy include: community policing-patrol activities-officer selection and training-S' drug enforcement- criminal investigations-and much more.
