The goal of this program is to improve the health status of the Latino people throughout Colorado through various community based outreach and research projects such as the Headstart Community Health Project which focuses on reducing the complication and the onset of Type II diabetes; Project H.E.L.P. the Latino Community Health Empowerment - focuses on breast cancer risk among Latinos.
