The Acoustic Neuroma Association provides information and support to patients who have been diagnosed with or experienced an acoustic neuroma or other benign problem affecting the cranial nerves. The Association furnishes information on patient rehabilitation to physicians and health care professionals, promotes research on acoustic neuroma, and educates the public regarding symptoms suggestive of acoustic neuroma, thus promoting early diagnosis and successful treatment. The ANA publishes a quarterly newsletter, distributes patient information booklets, presents a biennial national symposium, provides access to a network of local support groups, compiles a registry of statistical data on acoustic neuroma treatment and maintains a home page for patient information and discussion.
