Bright Beginnings
Do you have a new baby or a toddler, or know someone who does? United Way of Weld County’s Bright Beginnings Program provides Warm Welcome home visits that offer support and information to parents of newborns on health, safety, child care, community resources, low cost health insurance, early brain development, and the importance of reading to children from birth. Moving On visits are available for parents of children ages 12-24 months offering information and tools that help families encourage language development during the child’s second year of life.

Child Care Resource and Referral
United Way of Weld County’s Child Care Resource and Referral Program supports families by supplying information and referrals to licensed child care providers. The program supports child care providers through recruitment, financial assistance, mentoring, training and technical assistance. For persons wanting to provide quality licensed child care, the program provides professional development, technical assistance, and licensing information. Families with special needs children are supported through problem solving, training and technical assistance.

Child Care Assistance/Family Business Solutions
United Way of Weld County’s Child Care Assistance/Family Business Solutions Programs works with families who are finding it difficult to pay for child care and with employers to create family friendly work environments and employer-sponsored child care assistance programs.
