Bright Beginnings Smoking Cessation Program

United Way of Weld County’s Bright Beginnings Program disseminates information and materials to parents of newborns and toddlers on the effects of secondhand smoke on children, as a portion of the parent education received in both Warm Welcome and Moving On visits.  Parents wanting to quit smoking will be referred to smoking cessation programs available to help them.  Second-hand smoke is harmful for everyone, especially babies and children
