We are all connected. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when a young person graduates from high school prepared for college and when a family is financially stable. United Way of Weld County invites and connects people and organizations who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done. At United Way of Weld County we are focused on creating opportunities for Children, Families and the Community. Children…Because for every child who loves a bedtime story, there’s one who can’t read their ABC’s when they enter kindergarten. You can help a child enter school ready to successfully learn for life or help young people graduate from high school prepared for higher education and for life. Families…Because for every family ordering a pizza, there’s one wondering if they can afford groceries this week. You can provide resources that help promote self-sufficient, financially stable, families. Our Community…because for every person who shares a little with United Way, life in Weld County gets a whole lot better. With your help, we can improve people’s lives through: Our network of Grantee Agencies and Programs – they are our Partners delivering vital services each and every day. Our community collaborations that broaden our reach with services for the elderly, the homeless, quality after-school programs for students and help promote self-sufficient families Our unique United Way of Weld County-led programs, such as United Way’s 2-1-1 – meeting our community’s most pressing needs around the clock through our call center or online; Promises for Children, Weld County’s Early Childhood Education Council – working to make sure children and their families get the needed resources, education and quality child care so that children are ready to learn when they enter Kindergarten; and United Way's Champions Program, a collaboration of agencies working together to help families become self reliant and self-sufficient.
